Confetti Inc. is a think-tank for advanced real-time graphics research for the video game and movie industry. Our mission is to offer consulting services and build cutting edge graphics programming middleware for the game and movie industry.
Confetti was founded in May 2009 and incorporated in August 2009.

Our Headquarters are located in Encinitas, CA, USA.

Carsten Dachsbacher
Carsten Dachsbacher
Carsten Dachsbacher is Full Professor at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology. Prior to joining KIT, he has been Assistant Professor at the Visualization Research Center (VISUS) of the University of Stuttgart, Germany, and post-doctoral fellow at REVES/INRIA Sophia-Antipolis, France. He received a diploma degree in Computer Science from the University of Erlangen-Nuremberg, Germany, in 2002 and a PhD in Computer Science in 2006. His research focuses on real-time computer graphics, interactive global illumination, and perceptual rendering, on which he published several articles at various conferences and journals including SIGGRAPH, I3D, EG, EGSR. He has been a tutorial speaker at Eurographics, SIGGRAPH, and the Game Developers Conference and reviewer for various conferences and journals.

 

 

Peter Santoki
Peter Santoki
Peter Santoki is a graphics programmer and bon vivant of special effects. In his ten-year career he’s contributed to legendary franchises like Red Dead Redemption and Madden NFL football, pushing the level of quality and introducing new rendering techniques in lighting and soft focus. He’s put on a Superbowl fireworks show and lip synched referees. He’s made it rain sleet. More recently he was COO and co-founder of Confetti Special Effects Inc. targeting both high-end graphics and mobile hardware. There he helped launch new devices from Intel and Sony Ericsson, and also wrote graphics demos for prototype Qualcomm hardware. After leaving the company in August 2011 he joined its Advisory Board.
